Silopor – Empresa de Silos Portuários, S.A., unanimously approved at a general shareholders’ meeting today the annual report for the 2018 financial year.
The turnover was 17,654.79 euros, having recorded an increase of 3.38% compared to the previous year. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) rose by 7% to 6,758,262 euros.
In line with the EBITDA recorded, income net of taxes was therefore 3,694,600 euros, which corresponds to an increase of 9.1% compared to the same period the previous year.
To obtain these results, 109 ships were unloaded at the port terminals of Trafaria and Beato.
«The results obtained confirm the company’s position as the largest national operator of solid food grains, which motivated a vote of confidence in the management by the shareholder,» the company stressed in the press release.
